Evan Fencl

Evan Fencl is an Accounting and Finance Student in the Kelley School of Business. He hails from the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri and finds enjoyment in a variety of sports, especially football and NASCAR. His Episcopal journey started at the age of four when he was baptized at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. He attended Sunday school regularly (somewhat begrudgingly) until the 8th grade. Once his Sunday school tenure ended he started to pay more attention during mass and began to see the positive effects learning from the gospel can have on one’s life. Evan completed his Eagle Scout project at St. Martin’s in an effort to give back to the place that he felt taught him so much. When he came to Indiana University he sought out an Episcopal ministry where he could continue to learn in an environment he was comfortable in. Since joining the Episcopal Camps Ministry Evan has become very active in the ministry and currently serves as one of two ministry interns.
