Ricardo A. Bello-Gómez

Ricardo A. Bello-Gómez was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He was raised in a Roman Catholic family and joined the Episcopal Church as a teenager after being aware of the church’s strong commitment with social issues and deep respect of individual choices. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the National University of Colombia and worked in his country’s manufacturing sector for six years. After being involved in youth political participation for ten years, he decided to make a career change and is now a graduate student of IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) where he earned a Master of Public Affairs and is pursuing a PhD in Public Affairs, focused on comparative public management and policy analysis.
