Demonstration & Discussion for the Defense of Peace in Colombia

The Colombian Peace Process is at risk. Since January 2016, 837 social leaders have been killed, including 146 campesinos (peasants) and indigenous community leaders. This violence must stop NOW. The Colombian people will strike on November 21st, 2019. Let’s raise our voices in solidarity.

We will have a peaceful demonstration from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in front of the Canterbury House (next to La Casa – Latino Cultural Center). Then, join us for a roundtable discussion from 5:00pm to 7:00pm about the current situation and prospects for the future in Colombia.

We will offer Colombian hot chocolate and arepas.
