The annual 7th Street Day of the Dead celebration is right around the corner, hosted by La Casa, IU First Nations, the LGBTQ+ Culture Center, and the Canterbury House.
The Episcopal Campus Ministry at IU would like to invite you to come and decorate votive candles to either put on our altar or take home with you. Also, we will have a sheet of paper at the altar where you can write the names of people who you would like to be remembered at our All Saints Mass on Sunday.
Visit La Casa to learn about the history of the Day of the Dead, view their altar, and celebrate with food and crafts! The First Nations Educational Cultural Center and the LGBTQ+ Culture Center will also have alters set up and activities prepared!
