Dia de los Muertos: Day of the Dead

You are warmly invited to participate in our traditional Day of the Dead Celebration Tour next Wednesday, October 31st anytime from 7-9 pm. This Mexican celebration seeks to commemorate and remember those who physically are no longer with us but remain in our hearts.

The Episcopal Campus Ministry at IU would like to invite you to come, decorate votive candles and put them on the altar with your prayers. Also, we will have a list at the altar where you can write the names of people who would like to be remembered at All Saints Mass on Sunday. You are also invited to visit the other houses joining this celebration: La Casa Latino Cultural Center, the LGBTQ+ Culture Center, and First Nations.

According to the traditions for this special celebration, feel free to bring a photo or other belongings that remind you of your beloved departed. You can then pick these items up at the end of our activity.
