“Do you feel rushed and busy all the time? Do you feel distracted or that different parts of your life are fighting for attention? Come join the campus ministries of Province V for a weekend of rest and sabbath. Techny Towers offers a quiet space just north of Chicago where we can spend a weekend renewing our minds, bodies, and spirits. There will be structured prayer and meditation offered, workshops to learn and practice skills for focus and rest, and opportunities to meet other young adults from across the Great Lakes region and beyond.
The rhythm of the weekend is going to be based loosely on the Daily Office / Liturgy of the Hours, but with many of the offices re-interpreted. We are also offering, based on the success of this format last year, an opportunity early in the weekend for students and campus ministers to bring their own interests, concerns, and passions (especially as they relate to the theme of rest and renewal) as break-out sessions. Meals are provided, and we ask that folks let us know of any dietary restrictions”

The cost of registration is $150 per person. Scholarships are available. Additional information will be included in this announcement as it is made available.
